A light lunch and drinks will be provided.
This meeting is required to vote on the items listed below so that the transition of the Asbestos Industry Association (AIA) across to DIAQ can continue.
Our target is a one hour meeting, finishing at 1:30 pm

Item 1. Motion on Notice - Change of Name
That the name of the Association be changed from Demolition Industry Association (Qld) Inc. (DIAQ) to Demolition & Asbestos Industry Association (Qld) Inc. (D&AIAQ)
Item 2. Motion on Notice - Extend term of Membership Management Committee from 1 year to 3 years
The current Rules of Incorporation state
13(3) At each annual general meeting of the association, the members of the management committee must retire from office, but are eligible, on nomination, for re-election.
The new wording in the above shall read

Item 3. General Discussion
Transition and thoughts on membership, to have one membership level, everybody pays the same amount and all have the right to vote.
